“Hopes, Hoops and Dreams,” premiered at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival

The Michael Latt produced, Glenn Kaino directed short doc, “Hopes, Hoops and Dreams,” premiered at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival. Kaino  is one of the most important Asian American fine artists in the country and is currently with Pace Gallery.

Kaino has an installation at the Smithsonian Institute that was included in the exhibit “The Shape of Power: Stories of Race and American Sculpture”. “Hopes, Hoops and Dreams”  also screened at the Cleveland International Film Festival, where it  won the CIFF49 Best Documentary Short Award.

The short will also be screened at the Palm Springs International ShortFest 2025 and the Washington DC/DOX 2025 Festival.
