Our grant cycles expand
support for filmmakers, artists,
cultural leaders, and community
organizations advancing justice
through creativity and storytelling.
Each of these artists, filmmakers, and community organizations embody the spirit of what Michael stood for—storytelling as a force for justice, creativity as a tool for connection, and community as the foundation for lasting change.
We are honored to share the newest cohort of sixteen grantees supported by the Michael Latt Legacy Fund, in its third year of grant making to the next generation of storytellers and change-makers.
The first year of the Marketing Impact Grant was given to the project RICKY, written and directed by Rashad Frett who won the Directing Award at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival and will be released in the Fall.
