Andscape, the Black-led media platform owned by The Walt Disney Company, has acquired “Hoops, Hopes & Dreams,” a short documentary that premiered at Sundance Film Festival. It also received the best documentary short award at the 2025 Cleveland International Film Festival.

Sundance Institute director Michelle Satter announced on social media the fund will continue her late son’s work “using art to foster love, hope and healing by leveraging storytelling for enduring social impact.”
This spring, The SoLa Foundation proudly launched the inaugural Michael Latt Artivist Accelerator Program: Art in Action.

This 12-week internship program for ages 16-22, highlights the intersection of art and activism. Through immersive workshops, guest speakers, and curated events, students explored how creative expression can drive change while developing ideas for community-focused art projects.
