To continue his work, Michael Latt’s family created The Legacy Fund to support mission aligned organizations and individuals who are doing change making work that will make cultural impact and promote healing, social equity and leading with love.
Our Impact
To commemorate Michael’s passing, each year we will select grantees whose projects align with the Five Pillars of our mission.
Applicants must be an organization with non-profit status or an individual with fiscal sponsorship. The project to be supported must be part of the ongoing mission of the organization.

Collaboration
Michael Latt worked to activate equity, justice, artistic expression and mindfulness. The Legacy Fund will continue to collaborate with organizations and individuals who will make meaningful impact with change-making projects. Grants
Each year the Fund will support organizations that amplify and embolden diverse voices that align with Michael’s mission and passion for leveraging storytelling as a vehicle for social transformation, healing, bringing community together and leading with love.
Partnership with Panavision
Panavision has generously provided a three-year commitment to support a filmmaker directing a first feature. The filmmaker will be given a full camera package as well whatever training and support is needed.
